The Association of Compost Producers (ACP) is organizing a special meeting next week to continue discussing these draft regs by
SCAQMD (South Coast Air Quality Management District) has released a draft of PAR 1133.1 (Which relates to processors of green material) and
PR 1133.3 (which relates to composters).

The SCAQMD is holding a Public Meeting on Wednesday, February 9th at 9:00 A.M. in Diamond Bar. (See attached announcement)
Comments on the Draft Regs. are due on February 23rd, so there's not a whole lot of time. The Draft Regs and Staff Report can be downloaded here:

Also, as per suggestions made at the First Annual US Composting Council California State Chapter/ACP meeting last week at the USCC Conference (Jan 25th in Santa Clara, CA), we will be providing more information to you as to the specific type of financial/market information that the Air Board's need to make the rules more relevant and user friendly to the compost industry.
