Our Story

ACP was founded in 1995 with the mission to foster collaborations in order to build healthy soil with compost in California. Over the last thirty years, ACP has worked to increase the value and volume of compost used in California through education, market development, and advocacy.

Thank You To Our Supporting Members!

ACP is the California State Chapter of the US Composting Council. Our members include all of the US Composting Council members who do work in California.

The majority of our work is supported by the generous contributions of our Supporting Members, who go above and beyond the standard CA State Chapter membership through USCC. Thank you so much, for making our programming possible, and for being champions in the largest compost market in the country!
